Tudor was founded by the same man who founded Rolex, Hans Wilsdorf. He wanted to create a more affordable watch with similar quality and style to that of a Rolex. The company was established in 1926, 21 years after Rolex. Tudor is now responsible for some of the hottest sports models, such as the Black Bay 58 and the Black Bay Chrono.

This timepiece was designed in partnership with the Red Bull racing team and shares some characteristics such as colour, design, practicality, and materials. Tudor is one of the largest sponsors for the Red Bull competitive yacht racing team, so it only makes sense to make a watch to honour the newly founded long-term relationship with Alinghi Redbull Racing.

The FXD Redbull edition features a 43mm case, crafted from a carbon composite, a titanium and carbon unidirectional bezel with 60 minutes worth of luminescent graduations and a fabric strap to match the Red Bull colours, uniform, and yacht.
