The Oyster Perpetual is a direct descendant of the Oyster watch, which was released in 1926 as the world's first dustproof and waterproof watch. The aesthetic of the model allows it to be dressed up or down and it seems suitable for all occasions. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual has only ever been made out of steel, and has an extensive size range and configuration.
The celebration dial was released in 2023 and has been extremely popular amongst collectors who have a taste for something a little different. The celebration dial appears to celebrate the vibrant Oyster Perpetual dials released in 2020, as the circles on the dial are filled with colours from the Oyster Perpetual range. Some of the colours, such as red and yellow, were discontinued after two years of production, and the blue Tiffany blue dial is no longer produced in the size 41mm.
The celebration dial was discontinued at the beginning of 2025, meaning this particular model was one of the last to be sold.
Sold as a full and original set with box and papers, swing tags, and booklets, plus the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty which runs out in 2030.
