The Oyster Perpetual is a direct descendant of the Oyster watch which was released in 1926 as the world's first dustproof and waterproof watch. The aesthetic of the model allows it to be dressed up or down and it seems suitable for all occasions. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual has only ever been made out of steel, and has an extensive size range and configuration.

This particular Oyster Perpetual 34mm is a mid-size watch that can be worn by both men and women. Rolex no longer produces Oyster Perpetual watches in 34mm so it can be rare to find an example as clean as this one, with such a sought-after dial.
