The Rolex Explorer was introduced in the 1950s. The model is made for adventure and exploration. The watch is practical, legible and resistant. The Explorer has been tried and tested, and it's an excellent tool watch.

This particular reference of the Explorer 36 was discontinued in 2010 and has now been replaced by the newer 124270 model. The watch is made from Rolex's 904L steel and features a time-only movement, luminescent hands, hour markers, and scratch-resistant sapphire glass.
