The Rolex Daytona pays homage to speed. It was inspired by motorsport and designed to meet the needs of racing drivers by measuring elapsed time and calculating average speed. In 1955, Rolex released their first chronograph and started to team up with popular race drivers like Sir Malcolm Campbell, who then went on to achieve the world speed record whilst wearing a Daytona.

This yellow gold Rolex Daytona is known as "Money Green" or "John Mayer" because of the vibrant sunburst dial that dances in the sunlight and the fact that John Mayer has been frequently spotted wearing this piece. This watch was recently discontinued in March of 2023, and it is sure to be collectable.

This Daytona is sold as an unworn and complete set, including the original box, booklets, papers and swing tags. A watch register certificate and the remainder of the manufacturer's warranty are also included.
