Released by Rolex in 1945, the Datejust was the first self-winding watch to include a date on the dial and is possibly one of the most well-known wristwatches of all time. Since 1954, Rolex has refined the aesthetic of the Datejust, offering a variety of dials, materials, bracelets and bezel designs.

The watch we present to you today is vintage Datejust 36. The watch features a combination of white gold and steel and a factory black dial. The fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet, in our experience, are the most popular configurations in steel. The watch has been serviced and is performing to an outstanding expectation, given that the watch is nearly 40 years old.
