Released by Rolex in 1945, the Datejust was the first self-winding watch to include a date on the dial and is possibly one of the most well-known wristwatches of all time. Since 1954, Rolex has refined the aesthetic of the Datejust, offering a variety of dials, materials, bracelets and bezel designs.

The Datejust 2 is a history maker. The model was the first 41mm Datejust Rolex produced. Although production lasted less than a decade, the design looks remarkably similar to the current production 126334 but can be bought at a much more attractive price point.
