The Omega Speedmaster has a strong heritage that dates back to 1957. The model was initially designed for race drivers but quickly became associated with space exploration as it was the first watch to be worn on the moon in 1969. Since the model's inception, the Speedmaster has been refined and modernised, but the overall aesthetic has stayed true to the model's routes.
